Somali National Army (SNA) chief, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin, met with Italian military officials in Mogadishu to discuss strengthening military cooperation, focusing on training and logistics support.
Maj. Gen. Muhiyidin’s meeting with the Italian military officers took place on Wednesday.
This meeting follows Italy’s recent donation of four Bell 412 combat helicopters to the SNA, which will significantly enhance the army’s operational capabilities.
The discussion aims to further build on this partnership, ensuring that the SNA is better equipped to combat terrorism and improve security across the country.
