Somali National Army (SNA) commandos killed 11 Al-Shabaab militants during an operation carried out in Kismayo.
The commandos were from Danab Special Forces.
They carried out the operation on Tuesday, May 10.
Sources from the military indicate that the operation specifically targeted Al-Shabaab militants and hideouts in El-Ade.
It is not clear if any casualties from the military were also involved in the incident.
