Elite forces serving under Somali National Army (SNA) held an opening and oath ceremony on Friday.
The 2022-23 Academic Year Opening and Oath Ceremony of SNA’s elite forces took place in Mogadishu.
Several senior military officers were present at the event.
They included Abdifitah Qasim and Mehmet Yilmaz.
Qasim is the Somali Deputy Minister of Defense while Yilmaz is the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia.
Somalia and Turkey both sent their senior military officers to attend the ceremony.
