Somali National Army (SNA) forces have captured a senior Al-Shabaab leader during an operation carried out in Middle Shabelle.
SNA troops carried out the operation near War-Isse, a village in Middle Shabelle.
They combed through every part of the village where the terrorists are suspected to operate from early on Thursday.
In the process, the government troops nabbed Mohamed Jelle Jarasow.
Jarasow is not only an Al-Shabaab operative but also the man in charge of operating Al-Shabaab’s extortion units in Rage-elle and Jowhar towns.
