Somali National Army (SNA) forces conducted an operation in Lower Shabelle to flush out Al-Shabaab militants.
The operation took place on February 11.
Military officers from the SNA focused the operation primarily in Warmaxan and Furuqley.
Specially trained Danab soldiers were in charge of the operation.
According to military sources, the Danab soldiers seized control of several towns that had been under the control of the militants.
They also assured local residents of improved security.
