Somali National Army (SNA) forces killed six Al-Shabaab terrorists in Lower Shabelle on Monday.
The government troops conducted a security operation in the area to flush out terrorists who have been operating in the region for a long time.
Mostly, they centered the operation around the farmlands near Katoy village.
A statement from SNA indicates that the terrorists killed in the November 7 operation had been hiding in the village.
Furthermore, SNA personnel removed an improvised explosive device (IED) that the terrorists had planted on a road in Katoy.
