Somali National Army (SNA) forces have recaptured a village that has been under the control of Al-Shabaab for a long time.
SNA conducted an operation that enabled them to take back control of Qayib village in Galgadud on Monday.
The government soldiers got a bit of help from regional forces and members of the local community.
Reports from the village indicate that the security forces destroyed several sham courts where the Al-Shabaab militants operate.
