General Mohamed Tahliil Bihi, the Infantry Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), visited Beledweyne.
Gen. Bihi arrived at the capital of the Hiran region on Monday, January 17.
He was in the company of several regional officials who included Governor Ali Jeyte Osman of Hiran.
General Taredisho, the Commander of SNA’s 27th Division, was on hand to welcome Gen. Bihi at Beledweyne’s Ugas Khalif Airport.
Gen. Bihi expressed his delight at the warm welcome that he was accorded.
One of the first things he did was to hold a meeting to find ways of resolving the growing dispute between the Hiran regional administration and a rebel leader.
For the last few weeks, Hiran regional administration has found itself feuding with General Abukar Warsame Hud.
