Somali National Army (SNA) troops killed an Al-Shabaab foreman in a military operation carried out in Lower Shabelle.
The military carried out the operation in an area near Janale town.
SNA officials confirmed that government troops were in the area on Friday to carry out a successful operation against the militants.
In the process, they killed Mohamed Nur Shire, an Al-Shabaab foreman.
Furthermore, the operation also enabled SNA troops to kill 13 other militants. They arrested several more too in the Friday, October 7 operation.
