Somali National Army (SNA) killed one of Al-Shabaab’s ringleaders in an operation they undertook in Sheikh Abdullahi village.
Abdifitah Hassan Gafow, the Al-Shabaab leader, was among many militants killed when government troops carried out an operation in the region on Wednesday afternoon.
SNA carried out the operation jointly with members of the local community in the village that is under the Eldher district.
