Somali National Army (SNA) troops killed several terrorists in an operation in Hiiraan region.
Friday’s operation took place in an area that’s around 25kms to the south of Beledweyne.
The government troops collaborated with local communities to hunt the terrorists.
Security sources added that the area is renowned as a hideout for Al-Shabaab terrorists.
