Soldiers from Somali National Army (SNA) have recaptured several locations in Galgadud that were in the hands of terrorists.
SNA worked closely with local militia to recapture the locations in an exercise carried out this week.
Some of the locations that are now out of the control of the terrorists include Alihele and Barag Sheikh Aamir.
Ali Ahmed is yet another location that the forces liberated from terrorists.
All three locations are within Gal’ad, a district in Galgadud.
Reports from the region indicate that the terrorists destroyed telecommunications equipment at one of the communication centers in Gal’ad.
