Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers carried out a cleaning campaign in the Gedo town of Beled-Hawo.
The soldiers were in the region on December 9 for the cleaning operation.
Thursday’s campaign was necessary because of the heaps of garbage that are strewn all over the local streets.
Officers from the local administration, including the Beled-Hawo District Commissioner were with the soldiers in the cleaning campaign.
