Somali National Army (SNA) troops killed scores of terrorists in a planned operation in Galgadud.
The SNA troops conducted the operation at Ali-Yabal village.
The village is near the Galgadud district of El-Dher.
Information from military sources indicates that several terrorist leaders were also killed in the offensive.
The army undertook the operation in response to intelligence reports received earlier.
