Sharmarke Farah, the Director-General of the Somali National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS), attended a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) event on Somalia.
Director-General Farah attended the UNSC53 event that took place virtually on January 31.
The discussions mostly revolved around preparing evidence-based Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) for Somalia.
According to the panelists, the VNRs would enable Somalia to facilitate sharing of experiences, successes, challenges, and any lesson learned to improve standards.
