Somalia has a disability prevalence of 8.3 percent.
The Somalia National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS) said this in its latest report on the prevalence of disability among the population.
SNBS published the report on Monday.
It added that the prevalence rate is high in rural areas at 9.1 percent while urban locations follow at 8.2 percent.
Meanwhile, nomads also have people living with disabilities.
The prevalence rate among nomads stands at 7.2 percent.
