Mahamuud Moallim, the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA), traveled to Hudur to evaluate the effect of the floods.
Hudur is devastated as raging floods leave a trail of destruction and displacement behind.
Moallim arrived in Hudur, the provincial capital of Bakool, on Friday.
Immediately, he held meetings with officials and local residents. He then visited many of the places devastated by the floods.
He spoke with several individuals who have been displaced from their homes by the floods.
Moallim and the SODMA officials who accompanied him then distributed the food supplies they brought from Mogadishu to those affected by the floods.
