A delegation from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) visited Baidoa on Monday.
Led by Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA officials received a warm welcome from local residents and authorities upon their arrival.
Moallim is scheduled to attend a humanitarian event in the region.
Cabinet ministers and representatives from the international community will be at the humanitarian summit too.
