The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) donated $375,000 towards the construction of an emergency center.
SODMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim handed over a cheque of $375,000 to the Somali Police Force (SPF) and Medina Hospital in Mogadishu.
He handed over the funds for the construction of the center on Tuesday.
Officials from the hospital attended the ceremony held to hand over the cheque.
They were joined by their colleagues from the police force who were under the leadership of Gen. Sulub Ahmed Firin, the SPF chief.
SODMA Commissioner Moallim also visited victims of the deadly terror attack in Beledweyne who are currently receiving treatment at Medina Hospital.
