SODMA Says over 1 Million Somalis Affected by Floods

Over 1 million Somalis have been affected by floods across the country.

Mahamuud Moallim, the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) announced this on Monday.

He was speaking at the Humanitarian Coordination Forum.

The forum, which started on Monday in Kismayo, has attracted different stakeholders.

He urged Somali citizens around the nation to come to the rescue of their fellow citizens.

Moallim called for immediate lifesaving assistance to those displaced by the floods and terrorists activities all over the country.
