The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) is to speed up the delivery of humanitarian aid to residents of Las Anod.
Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner, made this announcement on Sunday during an important meeting.
Commissioner Moallim held a meeting with Abdikadir Ahmed Firdhiye earlier today.
Firdhiye is the leader of the Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn areas, more commonly known as SSC-Khaatumo.
SODMA stated that it would prioritize residents affected by drought and conflict.
