A government soldier has been accused of firing indiscriminately at civilians along a busy road in Mogadishu.
Reports indicate that the soldier fired at protestors at the busy Banadir junction in the nation’s capital on December 25.
Apparently, the suspected soldier fired at nobody at the junction before pointing his gun directly at civilians.
It is not clear what triggered the incident first.
Officers of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) are yet to comment on the incident that left Mogadishu residents shocked.
