Somali and Turkish Parliaments Discuss Increased Collaboration

The parliaments of Somalia and Turkey are interested in pursuing increased collaboration.

This emerged on Saturday following a meeting between Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe of Somalia’s House of the People and his Turkish counterpart.

Speaker Madobe met with Turkish Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş in Istanbul.

In their discussions, which took place on the sidelines of the 5th Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, they agreed on the need for sharing knowledge.

Speaker Madobe and Speaker Kurtulmuş also discussed the importance of exchanging insights.
