The Somali cabinet has approved the appointment of the 5-member Independent Constitution Review Commission (ICRC).
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, the Council of Cabinet settled on the five individuals who would serve as members of ICRC.
Cabinet ministers agreed on this when they held their weekly session on Thursday.
Mohamed Hassan Idriss, Ahmed Mohamuud Jama, and Mohamed Abdalla Salah are three of the members of the ICRC.
The others are Farhia Mumin Ali and Burhan Adan Omar.
Cabinet ministers approved the five individuals after the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Review presented the list to them.
