The Council of Cabinet, which held its weekly meeting on Thursday, endorsed two bills ahead of their presentation to parliament for debate.
Meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, the cabinet endorsed the bills in today’s session.
The bills in question are Income Tax Law as well as the General Financial Management Regulations, Debt Policy and Lending Process and Issuance of Guarantees.
Further, the cabinet received a report from the Ministry of Transport regarding completion of several roads in Kismayo, Baidoa, and Garowe.
The ministry briefed cabinet on its plans to install functional sewerage systems in Mogadishu.
