Somalis evacuated from Sudan arrived at Mogadishu’s international airport on Sunday.
The plane carrying the evacuees landed at the Aden Adde International Airport a few moments ago.
Officials from the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Migration, Returnees, and Children’s Rights were at the airport to receive the evacuees.
The evacuees arrived back in a joint operation between the government and other organizations.
These included the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the IOM-United Nations Migration.
The evacuees were the latest to arrive back home from Sudan, which has been at war for much of this year.
