Members of Somalia’s security forces joined the public in donating blood to victims of the terror attack in Mogadishu.
The security officers and members of the public donated blood to help treat those who were wounded in the terror attack that took place at K-5 Junction in the nation’s capital city.
They turned up in large numbers for the blood donation exercise.
Saturday’s twin explosions targeting the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in Mogadishu have left over 100 people dead and 300 more injured.
The attack is the second deadliest one in Mogadishu since 2017.
Health professionals continue urging Somalis from all walks of life to donate blood for those injured in the twin blasts.
