A senior spokesperson for the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has been airlifted to Turkey for further medical treatment.
Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu, who also serves as the Senior Media Adviser to the Prime Minister, arrived in Turkey on January 17.
He was injured during the deadly terrorist attack in Mogadishu this past Sunday.
Reports from the capital of the East African nation indicate that the terrorist suicide attack targeted the car that Moalimuu was driving.
He was rushed to nearby hospital for medical care.
However, his doctors, family, and the Somali government all believe that Moalimuu needs exceptional medical attention.
