The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has declared its readiness to address the root causes of migration.
Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, confirmed this earlier today.
Fiqi was speaking at an international conference.
He was at the Global Alliance to Counter Migrant Smuggling.
According to Fiqi, some of the measures that the government is ready to implement include improving economic opportunities, education, and stability.
The conference organized by the European Union Commission takes place in Brussels.
