ISLAMABAD — The Minister of Internal Affairs, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of Somalia, Hon. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh), has arrived in Islamabad leading a high-level delegation for an official working visit.
Upon arrival in the capital, the delegation was received by senior Pakistani officials and Somalia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sheikh Noor Mohamed Hassan.
Focus on Governance and Security
During their visit, the Somali delegation is scheduled to engage in extensive talks with Pakistani government officials to explore avenues for bilateral cooperation. The discussions will focus on critical areas of state-building, including national identification and civil registration systems, electoral processes, and democratic governance.
Additionally, the agenda covers cooperation on humanitarian assistance and disaster response mechanisms, reflecting the diverse composition of the visiting team.

The delegation comprises several key figures leading Somalia’s critical institutions:
