One person has been trapped in a collapsed mine since Thursday.
Reports from the region indicate that Mohamed Said, a 28-year-old man, was left trapped in the mine when it collapsed on October 6.
At the time of the incident, he was in the underground mining area.
Said is the only one trapped in the mine.
By early Saturday morning, he had not been rescued from the mine. His colleagues at the scene are not sure if he is still alive.
The area is renowned for deadly mine collapses.
