Representatives from various media associations in Somalia visited a journalist injured in the recent terror attack in Somalia.
Some of the officials were from Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS), the Somali Media Association (SOMA), and the Federation of Somali Journalists (FESOJ).
They visited Ahmed Omar Nur, a video journalist, who was injured when Al-Shabaab militants attacked Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu on August 19.
Currently, Nur is in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
The militants shot and injured him as he covered the shocking terror attack.
Later, the government confirmed that 21 people lost their lives in the deadly attack while 117 were injured.
Fifteen of those suffered serious and life-threatening injuries.
The media representatives who visited him reported that he has been responding well to treatment. They added that he is not in danger, as initially feared.
