Several Somali ministries signed an agreement worth €5 million with Italy and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNIOPS).
The agreement was signed on Monday October 12 in Mogadishu.
Representatives from the Ministry of Health as well as the Ministry of Ports and Maritime Transport attended the signing event.
Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, the Minister of Health, led the delegation from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
The agreement and the funds are for strengthening the health and infrastructure sectors in the East African nation.
As per the agreement, health and infrastructure sectors at the federal and regional are designed to benefit from the funds.
