Somali ministries are required to register all contracts with the government.
Auditor General Ahmed Gutaale issued the directive to all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) on Thursday.
AG Gutaale directed the MDAs to file all contracts with the National Audit Office.
They are to do so before executing any contract.
Further, he asked MDAs to respond to all concerns raised and captured in the audit report of 2022.
AG Gutaale added that the government had not registered 105 contracts signed last year, which cost $14 million.
