MOGADISHU — The National Security Advisor to the President of Somalia, Amb. Aweis Haji Yusuf Ahmed, received the Special Representative and Chargé d’Affaires of Norway to Somalia, Mr. Einar and Ms. Merete, for a diplomatic meeting in the NSA Office, in the capital.
During the discussion, the officials exchanged views on matters of mutual concern and explored avenues to enhance the bilateral relations between the Federal Government of Somalia and Norway. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in security and diplomatic engagement.
Norway has maintained a long-standing partnership with Somalia, supporting security sector reforms, humanitarian assistance, and state-building initiatives.
The session was also attended by senior officials from the security establishment, including the Deputy National Security Advisor, Mr. Mukhtar, and the Director General, Mr. Abdimalik.
