Maandeeq Air, a fully Somali-owned commercial airline, has successfully launched its first international flight.
The inauguration ceremony took place at Mogadishu’s Adan Abdulle International Airport, with the presence of the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Fardowsa Osman Egal, and other government officials.
Its first international flight departed from the Mogadishu airport on Sunday.
This marks a significant milestone in Somalia’s aviation industry, promoting connectivity and supporting the country’s economic growth.
