The federal parliament of Somalia held its first debate on the National Disability Bill.
Legislators at the House of the People (Lower House) debated the bill for the first time on Saturday, August 12.
Khadija M. Diriye, the Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, presented the bill.
She urged Members of Parliament (MPs) to debate and pass the bill for the benefit of all people with disability in the East African nation.
