Somalia will pursue increased cooperation with the United Nations on security-related matters.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Catriona Laing agreed on this when they met on Sunday in Dhusamareb.
Laing is the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia.
They agreed to enhance the kind of cooperation that guarantees improved security for all in Somalia.
Furthermore, President Mohamud and Ambassador Laing said that Somalia and the UN have to work together to facilitate humanitarian aid while boosting sustainable development around the country.
