Somali Police Force (SPF) and African Union (AU) troops have increased patrols in Mogadishu to improve security.
SPF is carrying out the security patrols in conjunction with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) Police Unit.
The patrols increased on April 11 ahead of the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
SPF and AMISOM Police Unit have collaborated several times in the past to improve security in the capital city.
