Somali Police Force (SPF) officers have arrested a man accused of killing a prominent resident of Mogadishu.
The man accused of murdering Abubakar Mohamed Nourani is a tax collection officer.
Nourani’s brother claims that the tax collection officer committed the crime over 5,000 Somali Shillings, which is roughly US$0.2.
The 65-year-old Nourani was a prominent resident of Hamarweyne in Mogadishu.
Police officers who arrested the tax officer confirmed that they would arraign him at Banadir Regional Court in the next few days.
