Somali Police Force (SPF) has banned the use of live ammunition during the upcoming national day celebrations.
The police issued the blanket ban on Tuesday, June 24.
Somalia is scheduled to hold its national day celebrations this week on June 26.
It is not clear why the police issued the ban. However, there is a likelihood that the ban is related to security reasons.
