Major General Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijaar is in Abu Dhabi to attend a security conference.
Maj. Gen. Hijaar, the Somali Police Force (SPF) chief, arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital for the 46th Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference on Tuesday.
The conference kicked off on January 10.
The meeting is to focus on various issues ranging from strengthening cooperation between security agencies and authorities.
Participants are also scheduled to discuss money laundering crimes.
