Somali Police Force (SPF) seized a cache of ammunition during a security operation carried out in Mogadishu on Thursday.
During the operation, SPF officers also confiscated materials for making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
A police spokesperson added that the officers seized the heads and triggers of rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
The spokesperson mentioned that police arrested eight Al-Shabaab suspects in the successful operation in Sakow, a town under the control of the terrorists.
