Barre and Al-Baz discussed ways of strengthening the already solid diplomatic ties that their countries enjoy.
Prime Minister Barre expressed gratitude to the Egyptian Ambassador for visiting him.
He also commended Egypt for playing a frontline role in the rebuilding currently going on in Somalia.
On his part, Ambassador Al-Baz hailed the work being carried out by the administration of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Prime Minister Barre in the East African nation.
