President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud addressed an Ankara-based think-tank on the benefits of an improved partnership between Somalia and Turkey.
The Somali President is currently on a 2-day visit to Turkey.
He’s scheduled to hold discussions with senior officials of the Turkish government, including President Recep Erdogan.
Mohamud arrived in Turkey on Sunday, July 3.
On Tuesday, he delivered a speech at an event organized by SETA Foundation, an independent think-tank based in Ankara.
During his speech, President Mohamud spoke about the strong, deep ties and cooperation that exists between Somalia and Turkey.
He hailed the role that Turkey continues to play in Somalia.
