President Mohamud congratulated Anwar Ibrahim on his ascension to power as the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Ibrahim became Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister on Thursday, November 24.
A few hours later, President Mohamud congratulated him on behalf of the people and government of Somalia.
In his message, President Mohamud expressed hope that Somalia and Malaysia would enhance bilateral relations between them.
He added that Somalia and Malaysia are “brotherly countries.”
