President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia discussed drought and humanitarian aid with the United Nations Secretary-General.
The Somali President and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met in New York on September 23 during the ongoing 77th UN General Assembly (UNGA).
Some of the issues they discussed included the measures taken by the Somali government to tackle the devastating drought.
They spoke about the war against Al-Shabaab and all forms of terror.
Discussions regarding humanitarian assistance also featured prominently in the Friday meeting between President Mohamud and the UN Secretary-General.
The two leaders agreed to enhance cooperation between Somalia and the UN.
