In Mogadishu, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks with European Union (EU) representatives on Wednesday to strengthen their partnership. The President expressed appreciation for the EU’s support in Somalia’s reconstruction efforts and highlighted key priorities, including national reconciliation, good governance, and an inclusive dialogue process.
According to a statement from Villa Somalia, President Mohamud reiterated Somalia’s commitment to building a democratic system and fostering international cooperation to secure a stable and prosperous future for the nation. The discussions also covered ongoing collaboration in security, development, and institutional reforms.
