President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Somali youth at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu on Thursday.
During the meeting, the President and youth representatives discussed the current state of the country and the government’s defense strategy aimed at protecting Somalia’s unity and sovereignty.
President Mohamud also emphasized the importance of national defense, the need for strong security forces, and the ongoing fight against terrorism, particularly against Al-Shabaab.
He also encouraged the youth to take an active role in the nation’s development and security, highlighting their potential as the future leaders of Somalia.
The President reiterated his commitment to safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity and working toward a peaceful and united Somalia.
