Somali President Launches National Consultative Council in Baidoa

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud launched the National Consultative Council (NCC) in Baidoa.

The Somali President launched the NCC on Thursday.

NCC has attracted leaders from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).

They meet to discuss crucial issues facing Somalia.

Some of the issues the leaders are likely to pay close attention to include security, fiscal federalism, and the electoral model.
